The Rama II Expressway, which connects the capital Bangkok to Samut Sakhon Province, experienced a construction crane collapse accident in the early morning of the 15th, resulting in 2 deaths.

According to local media reports, the accident occurred in front of the Paris Inn Garden Hotel.

The local police chief, Sitthiphon, told AFP that the incident resulted in "2 deaths and no injuries."

The Rama II Expressway is involved in several major infrastructure projects, including toll road construction, but has seen multiple fatal accidents in recent years, earning it the nickname “Death Road.”

Just on the morning of the 14th in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand, a crane fell during a high-speed rail project construction and crushed a passing train, causing the carriage to catch fire and derail, resulting in severe casualties.
