Teng Yun Temple Holds Zhongyuan Festival: Celebration and Rituals for Zhongyuan Pudu

(Seremban, 7th) Teng Yun Temple held a grand Zhongyuan Pudu celebration and ritual activities on the 5th of this month and September 6th (Friday and Saturday), attended by directors, advisers, temple donors, and a large number of devoted followers.
During the Friday night (September 5th) ceremony, Teng Yun Temple respectfully invited deities to descend at 8:30 pm, held blessing and eye-opening rituals, and welcomed Mianran Bodhisattva, mountain gods, and earth deities to celebrate Zhongyuan Pudu and conduct ritual offerings for wandering souls to bring them peace. Afterwards, at 11:00 pm, the Jade Emperor, Sanguan and Wudi were respectfully invited to descend, with temple directors and devotees sincerely welcoming them to jointly celebrate the birthday of Di Guan, Dongling Qingxu Dadi, and Qingling Dijun, praying for the forgivance of sins.
The next day (September 6th) at 9:00 am, Teng Yun Temple held the Autumn Sacrifice Ceremony at Balakas Chinese Fushou Mountain, followed by a visit to the temple to pay respects to meritorious ancestors after the ritual. At 5:00 pm, there was a ceremony to reward the five military divisions and a charity event in the temple, with offerings made to formless beings, good brothers, and Lao Da Gong.
At 7:00 pm, deities once again descended, leading directors and devotees to sincerely bid farewell to the Jade Emperor, Sanguan and Wudi. At 9:00 pm, Mianran Bodhisattva, mountain gods, earth deities, and wandering souls were respectfully sent back to their realms.
On that day, Teng Yun Temple directors and devotees participated enthusiastically in the festive activities, jointly conducting rituals, offering birthday blessings and praises, and praying for boundless blessings and the eternal protection of the celestial尊.
