Before filming started, Kenneth Tsang suffered a gout attack, requiring him to use a cane throughout the trip. Later, he had an accident riding an off-road vehicle, causing a nosebleed that lasted four hours and forcing him to leave for medical treatment. Subsequently, he had to use a wheelchair or cane for the entire shoot, so the others had to take turns pushing him during filming, which sowed resentment.
Later, during the dubbing session, Kenneth Tsang expressed dissatisfaction and contempt at Patrick Tse's slow progress, which made Tse even angrier. At age 79, Patrick Tse exploded at the press conference and slapped the 81-year-old Kenneth Tsang, accusing him of faking illness and abusing his seniority.
