Pakistan reserves the right to take all necessary measures for self-defense under the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
The statement pointed out that Pakistan is deeply concerned about attempts to drag Saudi Arabia into the Middle East conflict and firmly supports Saudi Arabia's security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The statement said that Pakistan adheres to easing regional tensions through dialogue and diplomacy, and calls on all parties involved in the Middle East conflict to comply with international law and ensure the safety of international shipping.
On September 17, 2025, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a joint strategic defense agreement. According to the agreement, any third-party attack against either country would be regarded as "aggression against both countries."
