According to US media reports, Washington will dispatch a military team of 200 personnel to the Middle East to oversee the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. However, these US troops will not enter the Gaza Strip; their main responsibility is to supervise and observe to ensure there are no violations.
Citing a senior US military official, US media revealed that Central Command will initially deploy 200 personnel. Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and other countries will also send military personnel to participate in monitoring the ceasefire. The official said: "Our idea is, if possible, to make it more cooperative. The Israeli side will obviously remain in close contact with them."

Another official emphasized that US troops will not enter the Gaza Strip. The two officials added: "General Kurilla, commander of Central Command, joining the oversight brings great confidence and a sense of security to Arab countries. Therefore, Hamas is receiving this message: we will play a very strong role, or rather, the President will be very resolute in fulfilling his guarantees and commitments."
US officials indicated that the plan for US personnel is to "help establish a joint control center, and then integrate all other security forces that will enter the center, in order to eliminate conflict with the Israel Defense Forces."
According to NBC News, the US military team will be deployed in Israel.
