Disneyland is a dreamland for many, but Disneyland in California, USA has reportedly witnessed an unexpected accident! On the 6th of this month, a woman in her 60s lost consciousness after experiencing the "Haunted Mansion" attraction and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. After investigation, police found no evidence of any operational issues with the facility, and it was reopened shortly afterward.
According to media reports, Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion currently features a Halloween theme inspired by the famous fantasy animated film "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The attraction involves riding in slow-moving mechanical cars at a speed of about 1,609 meters per hour, witnessing slightly spooky scenes that are considered safe even for children. International theme park consultancy founder and CEO, Spiegel, believes that compared to medical incidents, this facility is more likely to make people doze off.
Police stated that Disneyland security staff performed CPR on her until medical personnel arrived. The woman was taken to a local hospital but was ultimately pronounced dead. Out of respect for the privacy of the victim's family, police will not release further details.
A Disneyland spokesperson confirmed that a visitor was sent to the hospital for treatment on the 6th. The Haunted Mansion reopened shortly after the incident.
