KUCHING: A local woman who was reportedly in distress on the rooftop of a building at MJC Batu Kawa here last night has been safely rescued by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).
She was brought to safety at 8.30 pm without any injuries.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said an emergency call was received at 8 pm and a team from the Batu Lintang station was immediately dispatched to the location, about 7km away.
“Upon arrival, it was confirmed that a woman was on the rooftop of a building.
“The operation commander deployed two personnel to engage with the victim while another two stood by in front of the building,” the department said.
