(Kuching, 23rd) The late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma'ani is remembered by those who knew her as a humble, loving, and deeply maternal person.
Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak, Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, shared personal memories of Mdm Juma'ani on his Facebook post, especially highlighting her care for his family.
"Every time we met, she would always ask about my parents with loving concern and send her regards to them," he wrote in the post.
In the post, Rentap also shared a commemorative photo taken with Mdm Juma'ani on the first day of this year's Gawai celebration.
"We deeply mourn the passing of Puan Sri Datuk Amar Hajah Juma'ani.
I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his entire family.
"This also reflects the condolences from the people of Layar and the whole of Sarawak."
Rentap added that Mdm Juma'ani's sincerity and loving kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
