After the leaders of Thailand and Cambodia announced a ceasefire on the 28th, US President Trump subsequently stated that he had spoken with both leaders.

Thailand's Acting Prime Minister Putan and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet had earlier held ceasefire talks in Malaysia, after which Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar announced that the two countries would enter an unconditional ceasefire.
EU Hails Major Breakthrough
In addition, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Karas, praised the agreement between Thailand and Cambodia to cease fire.
He posted on the social media platform X saying: "After several days of deadly clashes, the ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia is a major breakthrough. It is crucial for both countries to sincerely implement the agreement."
