The national gas company (PGB) expects that the natural gas supply in Putrajaya will resume by July 1st at the earliest, but it will depend on the progress of the investigation, approval from relevant agencies, and actual operations on the ground.

According to a report by Bernama, the national gas company has submitted documents to the Malaysia Exchange, stating that the company is also closely collaborating with authorities, gas transporters, and gas distributors to restore services to the affected areas.

"Gas supply from the north to Batang Berjuntai, Meru, and Kapar has already increased, with additional supply coming from the Malaysia-Thailand trans-pipeline system."

The company stated that it is working with relevant departments, including the Occupational Safety and Health Department, the Fire and Rescue Department, and the police to investigate the matter and assist with the remediation and rectification of the pipeline, such as pile stabilization, water flow management, and pipeline excavation.

Furthermore, the document also states that the gas valve in Serdang City has resumed operation, bringing more stable supply to the Klang Valley.
