A horrifying tragedy occurred in the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia, where a 66-year-old woman was tragically swallowed by a python while searching for wood in her backyard.
According to Indonesia's 'Detik' News Network, the incident happened in the Sidrap area. The elderly woman left her house in the afternoon to look for ropes to tie wood, but she never returned. Her son, Nurdin, stated that he started searching for his mother when she hadn't appeared by 5 PM.
Nurdin initially suspected that the snake might be the reason for his mother’s disappearance. Acting on his suspicion, the villagers worked together to capture the snake, and upon cutting open its abdomen, they were shocked to find the elderly woman’s body intact, with no signs of life.
This shocking incident has once again raised concerns and fears among local residents about the presence of wild animals.
