Kapitan So Teck Kee, Chairman of Kiang Hin Primary School (SJKC Kiang Hin), delivered a speech during the Teachers' Day celebration held at the school's multi-purpose hall on Thursday. “A good teacher can influence a student for a lifetime; a group of excellent teachers can change an entire society,” he said.

He reviewed the glorious 98-year history of Kiang Hin Primary School since its founding, praising the efforts and contributions of generations of Kiang Hin people, which have placed the school in an important position in the development of Chinese education in Sibu.
“The school has inherited fine traditions and continuously innovated teaching methods to keep pace with the times.”
He stated that the achievements of Kiang Hin Primary School today are not only a continuation of history but also an example of progress.
“From new facilities to digital learning, to vibrant campus culture, our commitment to educational quality remains clear and firm.
“As members of the Kiang Hin family, whether as board members, alumni, teachers, or parents, we all share a common identity as part of the Kiang Hin community. This is not only an honor but also a responsibility.”
Mr. So called for strengthened cooperation between society and schools to jointly provide a solid foundation for the growth and success of talents.
