(Sibu, 4th) Led by Master Wong Wenbiao, the Tuanjie Charity Association Lion Dance Troupe has recently been officially invited to participate in the "2025 12th Macau International Lion Dance MGM Cup Championship" to be held in Macau this October.
This event, co-organized by MGM and the Macau Wushu Association, is scheduled to take place in early October at the square in front of A-Ma Temple. Recognized as one of the most prestigious lion dance competitions in the world, it will gather top lion dance teams from around the globe to showcase their superb skills and promote Chinese lion dance culture.
Under the leadership of Master Wong Wenbiao, the Tuanjie Lion Dance Troupe will make its appearance at this international event, competing and exchanging skills with world-class lion dance teams.
The Tuanjie Charity Association stated that being invited to participate is a great honor for the troupe. The event is not only a platform for competition but also a valuable opportunity to build friendships, promote cultural heritage, and share the lion dance spirit with the world.
