(Sibu, 10th) The police are currently seeking assistance from witnesses to identify the driver of a Perodua Bezza involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured a pedestrian.
The Sibu Police District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) is currently investigating the accident. The incident occurred on August 6th at around 4:28 PM near SMK Saint Elizabeth on Jalan Oya.
According to the police, the Perodua Bezza involved is believed to have been traveling from Jalan Tong Sang towards Jalan Deshon when the accident happened.
However, up to now, the police have yet to obtain the vehicle's license plate number or identify the driver.
The police urge anyone who possesses dashcam footage, CCTV recordings, or has any information related to the incident or the vehicle to come forward with clues.
In particular, individuals who were passing by the area near SMK Saint Elizabeth on Jalan Oya at the time of the accident are urged to contact the police as soon as possible.
