Typhoon 'Mina' Makes Landfall in Shanwei, Guangdong with Maximum Wind Force of Level 10

This year’s 17th typhoon, 'Mina', has made landfall in Shanwei, Guangdong Province, China, with maximum wind force near the center reaching level 10.

According to China Weather Network and Guangdong Meteorological Observatory, 'Mina' made landfall on the coast of Shanwei urban area at around 2:50 p.m. on the 19th. At the time of landfall, the maximum wind force near the center was level 10 (25 meters per second, strong tropical storm), and the minimum central pressure was 990 hPa. 'Mina' is expected to continue moving west-northwest at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, with its intensity gradually weakening.

On the 20th, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and other areas will still experience strong winds and rain.
