South Korean girl group BLACKPINK will return on the 27th with their brand new album DEADLINE. Not only is this their first new work in four years, it’s also a special 10th debut anniversary gift for their fans. On the 23rd, the official teaser for the title track “GO” music video was revealed. In one scene, Rose is seen supporting her whole body on her tiptoes like a ballerina as she crouches on the ground. After the clip was released, many BLINKs (the fandom name) freaked out, exclaiming, “It looks super painful!”
BLACKPINK officially uploaded the “GO” MV teaser on the 23rd. In one scene, Rose appears in ballet shoes, supporting her whole body crouched down solely on her tiptoes. The following shot features the four members dressed in all black, holding onto steel poles, eyes closed and heads lifted upward. Finally, the members harmonize and shout “GO!” Although you can’t quite catch the melody of the new song yet, just viewing the MV teaser has already sent expectations soaring.

Among all the scenes, Rose crouched on the ground drew the most attention online. One fan commented, “Rose hasn’t learned professional dance; won't her toes hurt?” expressing concern that she might get injured from doing advanced moves. Many others explained the filming techniques: “She probably used her fingers for support, so it wouldn’t be that painful. If the photographer’s shutter is well-timed, they only need one shot,” “Wearing ballet shoes shouldn’t hurt, but it’s hard to tell from the photo whether she was wearing them,” and “Don’t worry too much—Rose will take care of herself.”#
