Popular Chinese singer A Rong, who has performed in Malaysia three times, finally fulfilled his dream of bringing his very first overseas solo concert here. Facing the enthusiastic fans, he couldn't hide his excitement and exclaimed, “I’m really nervous!”
Organized by KXL Crossover, the “A Rong·2026 'Searching for Your Answer' Concert - Malaysia Stop” was held on Saturday night at the Genting Resort Arena of Stars. Taking the stage in a 'white prince' outfit, A Rong opened the show with “Mei”, followed by songs like “Yunding Daka”, instantly igniting the atmosphere.
When the intro to the classic “Whale” began, the applause and screams from the audience were endless. Hit songs like “Specially Practiced”, “By the Window”, “Three Words”, “Unsent”, and “Nothing To Do With Me” were performed back-to-back, sparking wave after wave of crowd singalongs. A Rong repeatedly made heartfelt confessions to fans: “Love you all, I hope all good things are related to you.” Such simple words moved the fans deeply.
In addition to sharing music, Ocean Ou revealed that this trip fulfilled his wish of tasting durian, joking that he ate so much he got 'heatiness', causing his eyes to swell as small eyes became big eyes, making the entire audience burst into laughter.
A Rong, who once became a sensation in the Mandopop scene with “Your Answer”, especially performed this signature song to thank his fans. When the familiar melody started, thousands in the audience sang together, their voices resounding through the entire venue, creating the most moving scene of the night.
