The renowned worship band from Australia, Hillsong Worship, will be launching the “Hillsong Worship Nights 2026 Asia Tour” and will be performing two shows in Malaysia this September.
The first show in Malaysia is scheduled for September 9th (Wednesday) at Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur. This marks the group's return to the capital after more than 10 years, and is expected to bring local fans an eagerly awaited live reunion.
The tour will then move to East Malaysia, with a performance on September 13th (Sunday) at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, marking Hillsong Worship’s first-ever performance in Kota Kinabalu.
Hillsong Worship, established for over 40 years, is composed of multiple musicians, singers, and songwriters who have been active for a long time in the field of modern worship music. Their works blend elements of contemporary pop, rock, and folk, innovatively breaking the mold of traditional hymns, and have achieved impressive results on international music platforms and charts.
The group won the 60th Grammy Awards “Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song” in 2018 for their single “What A Beautiful Name.” With its beautiful melody and profound lyrics, the song has been widely sung across the globe and released in multiple language versions.
