(Bangkok, 7th) – Thailand's Ministry of Finance announced on Saturday that more than 8.86 million people have completed eligibility registration for the 2026 State Welfare Card program, with over 8.45 million already finishing the data verification process.
Attapol Attaworadej, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, stated that, as of midnight on June 4, a total of 8,865,427 existing welfare cardholders had completed registration.
Among those who have registered:
5,473,320 registered through the program's official website;
1,244,416 registered via the Tang Rath mobile application;
1,188,530 registered via the Pao Tang mobile application;
614,723 registered in person at counters set up at five participating banks;
344,438 registered at Krungthai Bank ATMs.
The Ministry of Finance noted that, at present, 8,454,728 applicants have completed the eligibility verification process, while the registration process for a further 410,699 people has yet to be completed.
Applicants can check their registration status through each registration channel, including the official website and the service counters of the five participating banks.
For those who registered online and completed identity verification using their ID card, authorities recommend confirming that the system displays the status “registration successfully confirmed.”
If this is displayed, no further action is required, and the applicant simply needs to wait for the eligibility review results. The Ministry of Finance will announce the review results on July 17.
For those whose status shows “information on ID card is incorrect,” applicants must re-register through any available channel.
Applicants who have not yet completed the identity verification process must re-register before the registration deadline on June 21.
