(Thailand, 7th) — A 15-year-old boy in Chaiyaphum province, Thailand, is suspected of sexually assaulting his biological mother after drinking alcohol and using drugs. During interrogation, the boy stated, "Having sex with someone else costs money, but with my mother it doesn't." The incident has sparked widespread concern in the local community.
The police have taken the boy for further investigation and have referred him to the juvenile court in accordance with relevant charges.
According to Thai media outlet 'Thairath', the incident occurred on the night of May 25. The 46-year-old mother reported to police that she was resting in her room when her youngest son suddenly broke in and assaulted her.

The woman said her son presumably lost control of himself after drinking alcohol and consuming methamphetamine. Although she tried to fight back, she was beaten by him, and she did not reveal the incident to her family afterwards.
The next day (26th), she went to the police station with a neighbor to report the case.
Upon arrival, the suspect confessed to police that he had been influenced by drugs and alcohol, which led to his emotional and behavioral loss of control. Police also found evidence of damage caused by the boy on the walls inside the house.
It is reported that the woman's husband died two years ago, leaving only her and her two sons at home. The elder son, who also suffers from drug addiction, was not at home at the time of the incident.
According to reports, the suspect has been involved in multiple violent incidents over the past several years. In recent years, he became addicted to drugs, and local residents have complained about his acts of beating the elderly, threatening neighbors with knives, demanding money from his family to buy drugs, and distributing drugs to other young people in the village.
