Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi, stated that the Madani government has agreed to grant a special one-off Eid reward of RM1,000 to 2,196 managers and assistant managers of the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) nationwide.

He said that this one-time reward is the first of its kind issued by the government, aiming to express appreciation to the relevant personnel.
"Previously, they have never received an Eid or any festival-related reward. Therefore, I think it is necessary to ensure these individuals, who work six days a week, are duly recognized."
"At times, they become caretakers for children in the community, act as mentors, and also provide various services within the NADI premises for the community."

He announced this during a press conference after attending the opening ceremony of the NADI Eid Bazaar at the Gelugor public housing today (7th).
Fahmi mentioned that a total of 1,098 NADI centers nationwide will simultaneously organize Eid Bazaars on March 14, as part of the local community's Eid celebration activities.
He added that the bazaar activities will also include sales activities participated by government agencies such as the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) and the Farmers’ Organization Authority.
"This move will provide local entrepreneurs with opportunities to showcase their products and stimulate the community’s economy before Eid."
