Kedah Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Saifuddin has urged all parties not to hold prejudices against him, especially during the month of Ramadan, and to use this time to strengthen religious activities.

According to 'Berita Harian', Saifuddin, who is also the Home Minister, was responding in a press conference after attending the state-level Nuzul Al-Quran religious event in Sidam Kanan, Kedah on Friday night, regarding recent criticisms and allegations made by Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi.

Sanusi recently criticized Saifuddin for allegedly abusing government agencies and funds to conduct election campaigns in Padang Serai and Kulim, even saying that locals referred to Kulim as the 'Kulim Home Ministry', and claimed that such actions were inappropriate and went against the principles of mature politics.

Saifuddin, who is also the joint chairman of the Kedah State Development Action Council, stated that the aforementioned activities were aimed at benefiting the community and should not be politicized.

"Let him (Sanusi) be! During Ramadan, we should do more good deeds and not hold prejudices against me. After all, he is a great Menteri Besar of Kedah."
