The Royal Thai Air Force stated that an AT-6 two-seat light attack aircraft crashed during a training flight at 10:30 am in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, with both pilots on board killed.
The Royal Thai Air Force said that authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
It is reported that the crashed aircraft is presumed to be an AT-6TH "Wolverine."
The Royal Thai Air Force has deployed eight AT-6TH "Wolverine" attack aircraft at Chiang Mai Air Base to perform combat/attack missions.
