(Kuching, 24th) – Police are seeking public assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since October 21st (Tuesday).
Padawan District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi stated in a press release that the Kota Sentosa Police Station received a report concerning the missing girl at 1:29pm on October 23rd (Thursday).
It is understood that the Bidayuh girl, named Fenny Chong Jia Xin (translated name), was last seen at around 11pm that night in the area of 5th Mile (Batu 5), Jalan Semeba in the city.
He indicated that it is still unknown what the girl was wearing when she went missing.
"Anyone with information can contact the Padawan District Police Criminal Investigation Department officer, Sgt Wan Muhammad Mazlan, at 019-4619994, or call the Padawan District Police Operations Room at 082-862233. The public may also go to the nearest police station to provide information or make a report," he added.
