The heartwarming film ‘Together Again,’ directed by Malaysian director Lee Zijian, has clinched the Outstanding Film Award at the 2025 Macau International Children's Film Festival, adding another feather in the cap for the Malaysian film industry on the international stage.
‘Together Again’ features a cross-national cast from Malaysia and China, including Malaysian singer-songwriter Rachel Lu (Luo Yishi), Chinese child star Jin Mengyi, amateur actor Gu Tianfa, popular internet influencer Chen Dingdong, Chinese short video creator Junjun, and stage actress Yang Shiting. Together, they bring to life a touching story about ‘separation and reunion,’ family bonds, and forgiveness.
Director Lee Zijian personally led the team to Macau to attend the awards ceremony and delivered an emotional speech on stage: “This work is dedicated to all parents and children in the world.
