On the 4th, Yemeni government forces stated that a cargo ship sank in the western Red Sea waters of Yemen after being attacked by a boat carrying explosives, and all 14 crew members were rescued by government forces.

The Yemeni government-affiliated "National Resistance Forces" issued a statement that day saying that the coast guard and naval forces jointly launched a rescue operation and successfully rescued all crew members from the attacked cargo ship "FAIZE NOORE OLIYA" about 13 nautical miles south of the Hodeidah port, which is controlled by the "Ansar Allah" movement.

The statement pointed out that the cargo ship sank after the attack, but the incident did not cause any casualties. The rescued crew included 13 Indian nationals and 1 Yemeni national, who have been transferred to a safe location and are receiving medical assistance.

The statement did not specify the exact time of the attack, but attributed the attack to the "Ansar Allah" movement.
