(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) Brunei Chung Hwa Middle School began issuing the 2026-2028 Board of Directors election nomination letters and nomination forms starting from September 15, and after the nomination deadline yesterday (29th), the nomination process was conducted under the supervision of the current Board Chairman Yang Dezhen, Deputy Board Chairman Lin Wenhua, and Deputy Academic Supervisor Liao Tianshun. Afterwards, the fourth meeting was convened to review the nomination forms.
A total of 23 nomination forms were received this time. After verification, 18 were deemed eligible and 5 were invalid. Ultimately, there are 30 qualified candidates.

According to Article 14, Section 1 of Chapter 5 of the Brunei Chung Hwa Middle School Constitution: “If, before the nomination deadline, the number of nominees exceeds the number of board positions to be elected (23), the election committee will set a separate date, time, and venue for in-person ballot distribution, voting, and vote counting. Regardless of the turnout, the election results shall be valid.”
The school's on-site voting is scheduled for October 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Wenbang Hall of Brunei Chung Hwa Middle School, with ballot counting taking place at the same location at 5:00 p.m. on the same day. The school will issue notifications for on-site voting starting from October 10, 2025.
