(Si City, 30th) Jiuting Chinese School recently held a warm and grand Teachers' Day celebration, with the campus filled with an atmosphere of gratitude and joy. With the theme “Respecting Teachers and Expressing Gratitude,” the event combined solemn ceremonies, talent showcases, fun interactions, and heartfelt sharing to present the most sincere blessings to the hardworking teachers.
At 8 a.m. that morning, the celebration kicked off in the school auditorium, “Zhiyuan Hall.” All teachers and students sang the national anthem and school song together, expressing their love for the country and the school. Afterward, the principal delivered a speech on behalf of the school, thanking all the teachers for their hard work and selfless dedication during this crucial period of school reform and advancement, and strongly affirming their outstanding achievements in teaching and nurturing students, while encouraging everyone to continue working hand in hand.
Next came the much-anticipated segment of artistic performances, which was brilliantly diverse. One of the highlights was the teacher-student host duo, with both teachers and students taking turns as emcees. The students, ranging from first to sixth grade, were hosting for the very first time, but their poise as little hosts earned everyone's admiration. Kindergarten dance, a choral performance of “Listen to Me Say Thank You” by the lower primary students, and “Thank You My Teacher” sung by upper primary students were deeply moving. The collaborative song and dance performance by Teacher Fang Ting and Kindergarten Level 2 students was met with thunderous applause; meanwhile, Chinese teacher Hu Ting’s guqin solo, “Guangling San,” showcased the beauty of traditional Chinese music.
Finally, all the teachers and the principal sang “Count On Me” together, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.
After the performances, teachers exchanged gifts, filling the hall with laughter. The school also presented awards to students who excelled in the Teachers' Day themed competitions, recognizing their creativity and grateful hearts. Afterward, teachers and students gathered at the “Wen Hui Hall” to share a variety of delicacies, and the joyful time outside the classroom created a warm, family-like atmosphere.
The grand finale, a “Charades” game, was both hilarious and engaging, as students acted out prompts with exaggerated gestures, winning rounds of applause. The teachers were gratified to say that the children’s innocence and creativity are truly the most beautiful echoes of education.
The event concluded perfectly amidst warmth, gratitude, and happiness, not only expressing the highest respect for the teachers but also promoting bonds between teachers and students, leaving an unforgettable mark on campus cultural life.
