21-Year-Old South Korean Beauty Uses AI to Search 'Lethal Dose,' Poisons 2 Men—Becomes Social Media Topic Due to Looks

A young woman in South Korea used AI to aid in committing a crime. She first searched for the effects of 'alcohol mixed with sleeping pills,' and then, following AI suggestions, mixed the drugs into men's alcoholic drinks, resulting in the deaths of two men. Astonishingly, because of the woman’s attractive appearance, the case ignited widespread attention on social media, with many netizens praising her looks, leaving people dumbfounded.

According to a report by ODDITYCENTRAL, the 21-year-old suspect named Kim was arrested on February 11 this year and initially investigated for 'causing death by injury.' Surveillance footage showed that on January 28 and February 9, she entered a hotel in Seoul’s Gangbuk District with two men in their 20s, and left alone several hours later. The two men were later found dead in the room, with high doses of sedatives detected in their bodies.

Police stated that Kim admitted to crushing prescription sedatives (benzodiazepines) and mixing them into alcohol but claimed she didn't know it would be fatal. However, investigators found on her phone that she had asked ChatGPT, 'What happens if you mix sleeping pills with alcohol?', 'What dosage is dangerous?', and 'Could it be lethal?', among other questions, and adjusted the dosage according to the AI’s answers.

Even more shocking, the woman started 'testing' as early as December last year. At that time, she mixed the drugs into her boyfriend’s drink in a parking lot of a café in Namyangju, causing him to pass out. She then increased the dosage and committed a second crime, indicating a possible clear murderous intent.

After this case broke, it quickly exploded on social media, where most netizens strongly condemned her actions. However, public opinion shifted dramatically after a set of photos appeared. In the photos, Kim appeared very attractive, leading some former critics to change their tone—some left comments saying 'willing to have a drink with her,' and others even implied she should be given a lighter sentence because of her looks, sparking controversy.
