(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) In order to raise awareness and strengthen efforts against human trafficking crimes in Brunei, the Human Trafficking Investigation Unit (USPM) of the Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) under the Royal Brunei Police Force (PPDB) recently held a roadshow seminar on human trafficking crimes for frontline employees of Hengyi Industries Sdn. Bhd., located on Pulau Muara Besar.
The main objective of this seminar was to educate and raise participants' awareness in identifying potential victims of human trafficking. Frontline staff and employees are urged to always remain vigilant and pay attention to individuals who may be exploited or lured into becoming victims of human trafficking.
Close cooperation among the relevant agencies is crucial for the Royal Brunei Police Force to combat such crimes more effectively.
