(United Daily, Miri, 10th) The International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) of the University of Malaya has initiated the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) public dialogue sessions nationwide, aiming to extensively gather opinions from various sectors of society to assist the government in formulating policies that better meet the needs of the people.

This 13th Malaysia Plan public dialogue session is commissioned by the Ministry of Economy and executed by the INPUMA team, with the aim of thoroughly discussing the challenges and needs faced by the people to ensure that grassroots voices are not neglected during policy formulation. Through such a constructive platform, the government can better grasp ideas, suggestions, and creativity from different groups.
Prior to this, the public dialogue sessions have been held in Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu, Alor Setar (Kedah), Bayan Baru (Penang), and Kuala Lumpur, with Miri serving as one of the engagement stations in Sarawak. The session will continue tomorrow in Kuching.
The organizers emphasized that the Malaysia Plan is not only a macro blueprint for national development but also a crucial tool for improving the people's socio-economic conditions and quality of life. To date, Malaysia's developmental achievements are the result of the successive implementation of the 12 Malaysia Plans, and RMK13 will continue to carry this momentum forward, bringing further progress to the nation.
