Miri Tai Chi Association General Assembly Passes 2 Proposals

(Miri, 25th) – The Miri Tai Chi Association held its 2026 general assembly this morning at Sun City Hotel, where all members unanimously approved two written proposals, providing funding support for several important association activities this year.

The assembly authorized the board to allocate approximately RM50,000 as a subsidy for the “2026 Huang’s Tai Chi International Forum Training Camp” to be held from August 6 to 8 this year, which will be held in conjunction with the association’s 60th anniversary celebration and the grand banquet for veteran Master Ye Qiang’s 90th birthday.

In addition, the assembly also approved authorizing the board to allocate about RM30,000 for expenses related to the participation in the 14th World Huang Style Tai Chi Competition and Showcase, to be held in Kuching from November 21 to 22 this year.

As always, the board will continue to be responsible for raising major funds to ensure the smooth execution of various activities and to promote the continuous development of Tai Chi culture.
