43rd Anniversary of Zili Pavilion and 1st Anniversary of Jize Pavilion – Over 80 Pavilion Representatives Gather in Miri

(Miri, 25th) The welcome banquet for the 43rd anniversary of the founding of Miri Moral Uplifting Society’s Zili Pavilion and the 1st anniversary of the founding of Niah Lama Moral Uplifting Society’s Jize Pavilion was held last night at Miri ParkCity Everly Hotel. Representatives from over 80 Moral Uplifting Society pavilions from home and abroad attended, making for a warm and lively atmosphere and officially launching a series of celebratory events.

In his speech, Chen Guohe, chairman of the Zili Pavilion 43rd Anniversary Celebration Preparatory Committee, stated that the welcome banquet was co-hosted by Zili Pavilion and Jize Pavilion, and was shining with the enthusiastic attendance of brethren from various places. On behalf of all the directors of Zili Pavilion, he warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked all the domestic and foreign brothers and sisters who found time in their busy schedules and traveled across great distances to be present in Miri.

He said that among the guests present, there were new faces who had come from afar and long-time brethren who have mutually supported each other in the works of the Moral Uplifting Society. It is precisely due to the trust, care, and sincere cooperation among the members that Zili Pavilion can continue to gather strength and move forward.

Chen Guohe pointed out that early the next morning, the brothers and sisters from all places would travel about two and a half hours by car to Niah Lama to attend the 1st Anniversary Celebration of Jize Pavilion; after that, they would also participate in a series of activities hosted by Zili Pavilion, including paying respects to the ancestral masters and participating in the East Malaysia General Spirit Writing Session, among others.

He stated that, although members hail from all over the world, everyone is united in their dedication to the Moral Uplifting cause. He hopes that everyone will take this celebration as an opportunity to communicate and interact, deepen mutual understanding, further strengthen the bonds of virtue, and build a more solid bridge for cooperation.

He said, delicious wine and food embody deep bonds of virtue, and laughter and joy convey common expectations. He looks forward to all the brothers and sisters enjoying the welcome dinner, engaging freely, reminiscing, and discussing the future together in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

Due to the enthusiastic response from brethren from other places and the large number of attendees, the organizers had to utilize both upper and lower floors to jointly host the welcome banquet because of venue limitations. For this, Chen Guohe, on behalf of the preparatory committee, apologized to the guests and earnestly requested their understanding and tolerance.

Lastly, he called upon the directors and members of Zili Pavilion to raise their glasses together, to toast to the visiting brethren, as well as to the health and happiness of all brothers, sisters, and their families present, and wished everyone a pleasant evening.

The welcome banquet that evening also featured a variety of programs, including dance, singing, group singing of New Year songs, the awarding of participation certificates for the East Malaysia Special Spirit Writing Society Liu, as well as free singing performances by friendly pavilions. The event ended successfully in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
