(Seria, 4th) The Brunei Hakka Association will hold a Dragon Boat Festival beach event and charity sale on June 19th (Friday) at 3pm at Seria Jubilee Park, and cordially invites members, fellow villagers, and family members to actively sign up and participate, celebrating the festive occasion together.
A rich program has been arranged for the event day, including distribution of Zongzi Lucky Bags, a variety of food charity stalls, warm-up exercises, dance performances, riddle games, and fun activities. The aim is to promote fellowship, strengthen friendships and connections, and allow everyone to enjoy the festival in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
The organizers noted that a highlight of the event is that each participant will receive a Zongzi Lucky Bag, symbolizing the auspiciousness and blessings of the Dragon Boat Festival. In addition, a variety of food charity stalls will be set up on site, allowing participants to feast while also supporting community development.
