Hua Ji Union New Year's Eve Banquet Presents Service Awards, Commends 13 Committee Members for Their Contributions

(Miri, 18th) The President of the Miri Chinese Machinery Union, Chen Huiming, stated that looking back over the past year, the stable development of the union would not have been possible without the support and trust of its members, and even more so, it was due to the directors who quietly shouldered responsibilities and actively promoted the union's affairs. He said that the growth of the union has never been the result of individual efforts, but rather the achievement of collective contributions by all members working together.

Chen Huiming made these remarks in his speech at the union’s 2026 New Year's Eve banquet held last night at the Jubilee Grand Restaurant.

He said that the annual New Year's Eve banquet not only allows members to gather together, but is also an important occasion for enhanced communication, exchanging greetings, and sharing blessings.

He pointed out that the union specially set up the Committee Service Award to recognize the dedication of the directors. “Thank you to everyone willing to take up responsibilities, keep the union’s affairs in mind, and diligently complete every task.”

He said that this year, a total of 13 directors received commendation, and expressed his hope that all members will continue to work hand in hand to further advance the union, wishing everyone a safe, smooth, and prosperous new year.
