(Bandar Seri Begawan, 19th) The Brunei Ministry of Education, through the Examinations Department, is pleased to announce: The results of the Brunei-Cambridge GCE AS and A Level Examinations have been released today.
Brunei-Cambridge GCE AS Level Examination: A total of 1,058 candidates took part in the May/June 2026 Brunei-Cambridge GCE AS Level Examinations.
Of these, 1,044 were school candidates and 14 were private candidates.
Nationwide, a total of 564 candidates (53.31%) achieved results in at least 3 AS subjects or above, 849 candidates (80.25%) achieved results in at least 2 AS subjects or above, and 1,008 candidates (95.27%) achieved results in at least 1 AS subject or above.
At the school level, a total of 556 candidates (53.26%) achieved results in at least 3 AS subjects or above, 838 candidates (80.27%) achieved results in at least 2 AS subjects or above, and 994 candidates (95.21%) achieved results in at least 1 AS subject or above.
Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examination: A total of 90 candidates took part in the May/June 2026 Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A' Level Examinations.
Of these, 18 were school candidates and 72 were private candidates.
Nationwide, a total of 13 candidates (14.44%) achieved results in at least 3 'A' Level subjects or above, 33 candidates (36.67%) achieved results in at least 2 'A' Level subjects or above, and 70 candidates (77.78%) achieved results in at least 1 'A' Level subject or above.
At the school level, a total of 5 candidates (27.78%) achieved results in at least 3 'A' Level subjects or above, 11 candidates (61.11%) achieved results in at least 2 'A' Level subjects or above, and all 18 candidates (100.00%) achieved results in at least 1 'A' Level subject or above.
Students who sat for the exams may collect their result slips at their respective schools on August 19, 2026 (Wednesday).
At the same time, private candidates should collect their result slips on the same date (August 19, 2026, Wednesday) at the Examinations Section of the One-Stop Service Centre, Block C, Ground Floor, Ministry of Education.
Candidates interested in taking the October/November 2026 Brunei-Cambridge GCE AS and A Level Examinations, please note that late registration closes on September 2, 2026 (Wednesday).
