On the night of the 24th, Spider-Man "appeared" in the Kuala Lumpur night sky as thousands of fans gathered to witness the ‘Spider-Man: Heroes Reborn’ drone light show. The spectacular visual performance served as an early celebration for the film’s release, sending excitement for the new movie—which will open nationwide across Malaysia on July 30—soaring!
To promote the film, Sony Pictures held exclusive drone light shows at 8:30pm on July 24 and 25 at Raintree Plaza, Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur. Even though a sudden downpour delayed the performance by an hour on the 24th, the fans’ enthusiasm remained undampened. Large numbers of families and Spider-Man fans stayed on, waiting for this rare and breathtaking show in the night sky.
The ten-minute light show used the Kuala Lumpur night sky as its canvas as hundreds of drones constantly shifted formations to outline Spider-Man’s iconic figure, spider webs, and film emblems. Combined with dazzling lighting effects and successive bursts of fireworks, the atmosphere reached a fever pitch. It was a visually stunning feast, brimming with futuristic and technological tones, as the TRX night sky was transformed into Spider-Man’s exclusive stage, drawing rounds of cheers and applause from the crowd.
