Peruvian Tourist Plane Crash: All 13 On Board Killed

(Lima, 2nd) A small aircraft carrying foreign tourists to view Peru's Nazca Lines has crashed, with all 13 people on board killed.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on the 1st. The plane had taken off from Pisco Airport, about 240 kilometers south of the capital Lima, and crashed shortly after in the Vista Alegre area.

According to police, the victims include 11 passengers and 2 crew members, with no survivors found at the scene. The passengers included tourists from Germany, Spain, and Italy, as well as two crew members.

The Peruvian Civil Aviation Authority stated that the area has been sealed off after the crash, and investigators from the capital Lima have rushed to the scene to determine the cause of the accident.

The Nazca Lines, also known as the Nazca Geoglyphs, are a series of large designs etched into the desert around Nazca. Their full view can only be appreciated from a plane or a viewing tower. The crash site was approximately 19 kilometers from this location.
