Another bomb attack has occurred in southern Thailand! According to Thai media reports on July 30, at around 8 a.m. that day, an explosion took place in Su-ngai Padi district, Narathiwat province, located in the country's southern border region. A group of police officers assigned to patrol and escort teachers to school was targeted in the bomb attack, resulting in six officers and one civilian being injured.

According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred on one of the regular commuting routes used by local teachers. At the time of the explosion, police officers were carrying out their escort duties. It is suspected that an improvised explosive device (IED) buried by the roadside was detonated, sending shrapnel flying and causing varying degrees of injuries to those present.
