Former idol group 'SMAP' leader Masahiro Nakai was previously involved in sexual assault allegations, and on the 9th, he admitted to having disputes with women and issued an apology statement. Japanese media "Weekly Bunshun" further exposed the incident, revealing that Nakai also participated in the five-star hotel sexual assault party initiated by variety star Hitoshi Matsumoto, plunging him back into a sexual assault storm.
According to a previous report by "Weekly Bunshun," Hitoshi Matsumoto had asked his junior Kazunori Ozawa to invite women to a luxury suite at a five-star hotel for drinking and entertainment, during which he allegedly preyed on these women. Amidst the spreading scandal involving Nakai, "Weekly Bunshun" further disclosed that during a "sexual tribute" banquet held by Matsumoto and Ozawa in September 2015, Masahiro Nakai was also present. Nakai's representative responded: "During that time, I did have dinner with women at that location."
The scandals engulfing Nakai have led to all of his hosted programs being temporarily suspended. Japanese netizens further unearthed past incidents from shows where he overstepped with actress Rie Miyazawa. Rie, appearing as Tsuyoshi Kusanagi’s friend, entered a room, and Nakai suggested helping her "put on a microphone," under the guise of assistance. As Nakai approached Miyazawa, who was wearing an off-shoulder top, he attempted to reach into her clothing. Takuya Kimura immediately intervened: "Why would it be you to do it?" When Nakai really tried to reach in, Rie Miyazawa was alarmed and said, "Wait! I'll do it myself." From afar, Takuya Kimura called out: "Don’t do such things on TV, it's really outrageous!" Nakai then invited Rie Miyazawa to sit next to him and touched her shoulder. Shingo Katori promptly shouted, "Don’t touch her!" Takuya Kimura again said, "It’s really weird! This guy is really off!" Nakai with a smile, said, "This is communication."
