(Sibu, June 2) — The Mathematics Department of the Primary Section of Chung Cheng Middle School, Sibu, recently held two unique and engaging competitions — the 'Mathematics General Knowledge Quiz' for lower grades and the 'Math Treasure Hunt' for upper grades. These events aimed to spark students’ interest in mathematics, foster teamwork, and build problem-solving skills. The activities attracted enthusiastic participation, creating a lively atmosphere and showcasing students’ passion and creativity in learning mathematics.
This year, the 'Mathematics General Knowledge Quiz' welcomed registrations from first and second graders for the very first time. The goal was to test students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving abilities through an enjoyable format. During the competition, young contestants worked closely with teammates, thinking actively and having plenty of laughs and joy on site. The activity not only reinforced the mathematical foundations of lower-grade students but also allowed them to experience the joy of teamwork.

In a tense yet cheerful atmosphere, students demonstrated outstanding mathematical application skills and adaptability.
