The Public Relations Department of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on the 11th, indicating that Iran launched 12 ballistic missiles that morning at a U.S. Air Force base in Azraq, Jordan, targeting deployment points of U.S. F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets, destroying related facilities and 'numerous aircraft.'
The statement also noted that in two waves of operations, the IRGC struck and destroyed 18 key U.S. targets in the Middle East.
The statement said that, at dawn that day, in response to the U.S. attack on Iran, the IRGC Aerospace Force, in two waves of operations, struck and destroyed 18 key targets at the U.S. Ali Al Salem Air Base and Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, as well as Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
