On the 17th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and the commander of Iran’s “Basij Force” were killed in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces.
In a televised address, he said that Israel is weakening the Iranian regime and creating opportunities for regime change in Iran.
He stated that the killing of Larijani was intended to give the Iranian people a chance to overthrow their rulers.
He said: "This morning, we eliminated the head of the Revolutionary Guard, Larijani, whose Revolutionary Guard is the gang controlling Iran."
However, Netanyahu admitted that the process of overthrowing the Iranian regime cannot be accomplished overnight.
He stated that the Israeli military is conducting airstrikes using fighter jets and drones in Iran’s capital Tehran and other cities. He had a long conversation with U.S. President Trump on the 16th, and that the U.S. Air Force and Navy as well as more unexpected actions are to come.
