(Kuching, 13th) Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof has urged the people of Sarawak to continue supporting Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari, leading Sarawak to achieve greater successes in the future.
He pointed out that Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari has demonstrated courageous leadership, successfully bringing Sarawak into a new era.
He stated that Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari's courage and creativity in seeking economic resources for Sarawak have finally borne fruit when announcing the special budget for Sarawak.
He said this success proves the wisdom of the Sarawak Premier in managing and utilizing all available regional resources, successfully putting Sarawak on the world map.
“This commitment shows that the Sarawak Premier is a visionary and creative person, unafraid of entering new fields and receiving international recognition.”
Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof expressed this during an interview after officiating at the Malaysian Trust Fund Entrepreneurs Friends Carnival, where he noted that Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari has led Sarawak for eight years and achieved various successes, especially in the transition to a digital economy and green energy usage, successfully making Sarawak a leader in these fields.
Dato' Sri Fadillah, also the Member of Parliament for Petra Jaya, stated that there are 42,957 members of the Malaysian Trust Fund Entrepreneurs Friends in the Sarawak region, with 3,571 members coming from Kuching.
He congratulated the Malaysian Trust Fund Entrepreneurs Friends in the region, as they are comprised of 1,200 female entrepreneurs, contributing to the success of this carnival.
He disclosed that in terms of the total financing amount, the Malaysian Trust Fund Entrepreneurs Friends in Sarawak's performance is encouraging, with only 0.02% (262.2 million MYR) of loans being unpaid.
“The continuous support of the Malaysian Trust Fund is precisely the catalyst driving the success of entrepreneurs who have obtained loans. If they are not successful, they wouldn't be able to repay the loans, which is why the loan repayment rate is so low, only 0.02%. This means their efforts are successful, allowing them to repay the loans.”
