Bei Meijiao Praises Diversity and Vibrancy of Campus Culture, Student Talents Shine at Cultural Gala

(Miri, 16th) Pei Min Independent High School Principal Bei Meijiao stated that the Pei Min 65th Anniversary Cultural Gala is not only an artistic feast, but also a concentrated showcase of students’ learning achievements.

In her speech at the opening night of Pei Min High School’s 65th Anniversary Celebration Cultural Gala last night, she said that this year’s gala—from conceptualizing the theme, arranging programs, stage design to onsite coordination—was entirely planned and executed by the organizing committee led by Tan Wanxiang. This not only highlighted the students’ creativity and artistic talents but also demonstrated their organizational abilities, communication and coordination skills, and team spirit, allowing students to truly step outside the classroom and grow and transform through practice.

She pointed out that education is not only about cultivating academic talents, but also about nurturing a new generation of youth possessing creativity, responsibility, leadership, and humanistic qualities. Therefore, the school actively provides diverse platforms for students to unleash their potential and showcase their abilities.

She said, tonight the students will present programs such as singing, dancing, comic dialogue, and Chinese orchestra performances. Every performance embodies the students’ repeated rehearsals and efforts, also showcasing Pei Min’s diverse and vibrant campus culture.

Bei Meijiao remarked that, as an independent high school, Pei Min’s steady development over the years would not have been possible without the long-term care and support of the Chinese community. It is because of the board, alumni, parents, philanthropists, and the public accompanying the journey that the school continues to improve the quality of education and create a better learning environment for students.

She also thanked the board, sponsoring organizations, organizing committee, students, teachers, and behind-the-scenes staff for their dedication, as well as expressing gratitude to all sectors of society for their continuous care and support for Pei Min.
