Miri Zhao'an Association Holds Fire Prevention Seminar to Raise Members’ Fire Safety Awareness

(Miri, 9th) The Miri Zhao'an Association held a "Fire Prevention Seminar" at 9am on the 5th of this month (Sunday) in the senior citizen hall on the ground floor of the association. The event saw enthusiastic participation from committee members, the youth group, women’s group, senior group, and members, all coming together to learn about fire safety and enhance their safety awareness.

This seminar was presented by Chen Jianhao, who explained basic fire prevention knowledge, fire risk prevention measures, and emergency response techniques to attendees.

President Lin Meiying expressed her delight at seeing the enthusiastic response from the committee, youth group, women’s group, senior group, and members, which fully demonstrated everyone’s attention to the topic of fire prevention.

She pointed out that as household electrical appliances and electric vehicles (EVs) become more widespread, fire safety awareness is increasingly important. For this reason, the association organized this seminar, hoping to provide members with the correct fire prevention concepts, knowledge of fire risk management and response methods, in order to reduce accidents.

She said, mastering correct fire safety knowledge can not only protect oneself but also safeguard family members and property. She hopes that members will apply what they have learned in their daily lives, working together to create a safer living environment.
