(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) In order to more comprehensively elucidate the faith-driven concept of “Hijrah” (migration) towards righteousness, the Belia Mualaf As-Syahadah, under the guidance of the Youth Religious Affairs Secretariat of the Islamic Da'wah Centre (PDI), Brunei Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), recently organized the fourth session of the 2025 Hi-Class (Hidayah Class) series at the Islamic Da'wah Centre conference hall in Kampung Pulaie.
This course was not only a learning platform, but also integrated open discussions and interactive activities, especially tailored for young Muslim converts (Mualaf), so that they could more easily grasp the course content. The program adopted a youth-oriented approach, making the activities more relevant to reality, livelier, and more capable of inspiring interest and resonance among the youth.
The course emphasized that “Hijrah” is a gradual and continuous process of faith growth, not a change that happens overnight. In addition, the course aimed to foster a spirit of mutual assistance among participants, so they could accompany and support each other in strengthening their faith.
The event opened with the recitation of the repentance prayer 'Sayyidul Istighfar' and 'Al-Fatihah' (Surah Al-Fatihah). This was followed by a lecture titled 'Hijrah is a process, not an instant change,' delivered by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council certified lecturer, Dayang Siti Hurul-Ain Diyana @ Vieana binti Haji Abdul Majid.
The lecture sparked an enthusiastic response from participants, who actively asked questions and engaged in dialogue, demonstrating a deep interest and understanding of the topic.
The course concluded with the recitation of the repentance prayer 'Tasbih Kafarah' and 'Surah Al-‘Asr,' followed by a group photo session to commemorate the occasion.
