(Miri, 9th) Sarawak Minister of Transport and Senadin state assemblyman Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin stated that the Mobile Rahmah Sales Program (Program Jualan Rahmah Bergerak) has become an important measure to help the grassroots reduce their cost of living burden, and it will continue to be held monthly in the Senadin area so that residents from different regions can benefit.
"Today's event is held at Lopeng Secondary School, and in December we will move to Lutong Secondary School. Through this method, nearby residents can buy daily necessities with discounts of up to 30 percent, such as rice, cooking oil and other essential supplies."

He said that currently a total of 30 types of goods are on offer, with discounts ranging from 10% to 30%, and are well received by the public, especially the B40 low-income group with very enthusiastic response.
"I arrange for one event every month, and sometimes even two, so that village residents and low-income families in the Senadin area can benefit. The event not only offers great prices, but also operates smoothly with very good feedback."
Lee Kim Shin pointed out that the program adopts a 'mobile model', sometimes held at schools, churches or community venues. "Choosing schools as venues is because students can bring the news home so that parents can come and buy, and the schools also provide the venue free of charge to support the event."
He added that in addition to the mobile mode, there are also fixed location sales activities, such as one to be held at Miri Hospital on the 20th of this month, followed by another fixed sales event at Naim Supermarket from November 29 to 30.
In addition, there will also be an event at St. Anthony Church, Tudan on November 30, with a total of four events expected to be held this month.
"Since its launch last year, the Mobile Rahmah Sales Program has already successfully helped many families reduce their financial stress. In the future, we will continue to expand its reach to ensure that more residents in different areas can benefit."
He said that the government will continue to assist the people in dealing with the rising cost of living through the 'Rahmah Sales Program' and other subsidies, so that life will be more stable and secure.
