Regarding the alleged corruption case involving a Sarawak construction project valued at 250 million ringgit, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Tan Sri Azam Baki stated that to date, a total of 25 bank accounts have been frozen.

Additionally, he mentioned that 21 people have been summoned for questioning.

The ACC previously arrested a company director with the title of 'Datuk' and a public servant, suspecting them of corruption related to the Sarawak construction project worth approximately 250 million ringgit.

When questioned today, Azam Baki indicated that the commission has been granted an extension to detain the public servant for three days; however, the court rejected the commission’s application to extend the detention of the 'Datuk'.

Although the total value of the construction project is 250 million ringgit, Azam Baki mentioned that the commission has not yet determined the amount of bribe involved, but they seized 40,000 ringgit in cash from the public servant.
