The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Thailand launched a surprise investigation into the database of a large-scale transnational online gambling syndicate. By tracking the cloud system, they identified a 29-year-old woman who acted as the "super administrator." It was also discovered that she controlled the backend systems of as many as 11 gambling brands, with an average daily turnover of no less than 5 million baht (about 613,453 MYR), and over 100 million baht (about 12.26 million MYR) per month.
According to Thai media reports, in this operation, officers from the third division of Thailand's Economic Crime Suppression Division utilized cyber investigation techniques to track down the gambling network, which attempted to hide its tracks using Cloudflare, Cloud VPN, and Cloud VPS. Evidence from her mobile phone was then presented to the court to obtain a search warrant and a residence in Ao Ai Subdistrict, Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province was searched.

Inside the house, police found the 29-year-old woman named Chalisa. Police allege she is the "super administrator," responsible for controlling the backend systems of 11 gambling brands. The business covers live casinos, slot machines, baccarat, card games, sports betting, and online lottery. At the same time, the woman held authorization to approve deposits and withdrawals in both baht and cryptocurrencies.
During interrogation, the woman revealed that she once worked at a casino in Poipet, Cambodia, and later applied for an administrator position via Facebook, after which she underwent several months of training on gambling website systems. She only returned to work in Thailand after Cambodian authorities began cracking down hard on online gambling.
According to the police, the suspect worked shifts as long as 12 hours a day, controlling financial transactions, verifying transfer instructions, approving deposits and withdrawals, and managing multiple payment gateway channels.
At the preliminary investigation stage, the police have charged her with illegally advertising and enticing others to participate in online gambling and have transferred her to judicial authorities. Meanwhile, authorities are working to further trace the flow of funds, freeze and confiscate related assets, and are fully pursuing the masterminds and beneficiaries of the syndicate to bring them to justice.
